Jan 2008 Prof Scarlett Epstein has been awarded a Nuffield foundation research grant to update her Rural migration case studies in South India. The studies were collected in 2004 as background for the "Back to the Village" film documentary and will be updated in 2008. The early studies were published in the World bank publication "Moving out of poverty" (2007)
