Dr Geoff Griffith

Dr. Griffith has more than 20 years of experience implementing poverty reduction and food security programmes mainly in Asia of which at least 13 years has been spent in South Asia.

He has worked in both Government and NGO implemented programmes with particular emphasis on the implementation of integrated and complex rural development projects. He has particular lengthy experience in the practical application of EC project cycle management both as project manager and external advisor. This has included following the project cycle as well as training counterpart staff in PCM techniques.

His experience in food security and NGO implemented programmes both in Asia (including Bangladesh) and Africa is extensive. Apart from implementing such programmes, he has also monitored many on behalf of the EC and assessed NGO applications for funding.  He also produces clear and well written reports on schedule.
